Can't get enough...

of this little lady!

Outtakes

2.5 Years

At 2.5 years, Carter:

  • Loves to talk!  He's never short on words and is willing to talk to just about anyone who will listen.
  • Spends as much free time as possible in "the clubhouse" (aka the swing set) outside.
  • Still loves cars and trains and has added planes and helicopters to his favorites.
  • Is a great big brother!
  • Enjoys reading books...often times the same one over and over and over.
  • Doesn't love posing for the camera anymore.  He'd much rather play with the camera buttons.
  • Remembers everything!  If he sees a toy in a store or a treat that looks enticing, he will remind you about it until he gets it.
  • Is a budding fashionista.  Not only is Carter particular about the clothes he wears, he has strong opinions about my clothing choices.  If I'm wearing something that he doesn't like, he lets me know.
  • Is a sensitive soul.  Whenever he senses something is amiss, he'll ask what happened and offer hugs to make everything better.
Can't believe we're halfway to 3 already!

5 Months

At 5 months old, Q:

  • Loves mama.  I remember Carter showing some preference for me at times, but Quinn really loves her mama.  If she's upset and crying, I literally just have to get her attention and she stops immediately.
  • Sits up on her own!
  • Has teeny-tiny feet and short legs.  Her 0-3 month sized socks are still quite roomy and she easily fits in 3 month sized bottoms.
  • Isn't too interested in toys.  She's happy to sit up high and people watch rather than play.
  • Sleeps great at night and cat naps all day long.
  • Is ticklish all over!
  • Loves when you blow raspberries on her belly.
  • Is a laid-back, happy little girl!

Fall Has Arrived...

Let the festivities begin!

Go Bruins!

We had a great time with great seats at the Bruins game this week.  Although the Bruins didn't come out victorious, there was lots of action the entire game and Chris and I had a fun night out without the kiddos.  We hope there will be many more Bruins games in our future!

Back to the Bay

We had lots of fun bouncing in the bouncy house, eating frozen yogurt, playing with friends, reading with grandma and grandpa, going to the park, visiting a new library, getting long runs in, and lounging in the sun.  So long, California!

Trek West

We traveled to Utah for a business school reunion and then onto California for a few weeks at Grandma's house.  We had lots of adventures along the way and successfully navigated two children from coast to coast.  The kids did great and while it was tiring, it was a great trip!

My two star travelers!  Quinn was the happiest little trooper I've ever seen.

We made a trip to the BYU Bookstore and Carter loved the reading nook with the friendly horsies.  Only Carter could convince Grandma to give them a try too!

Thanks to the Disney Planes movie, Carter was thrilled about each plane ride!

Little Buddies

It's rough being young and adorable, huh?
