Until We Meet Again...

Grandpa and Grandma came through Boston en route to Mexico to meet Baby Amelia so we had one last chance to say good-bye.  I had to document what the kids all looked like when they left to see how much they change when we all meet again in 3 years.  Grandma  and grandpa are the favorites around here and will be missed so much!

Utah Vacay!

Our summer travels wouldn't be complete without a few days of vacation in Utah.  We were all pretty thrilled to be reunited with Daddy who came with gifts in hand for the little people.  We spent most of our time in Provo with a day in Park City and had a blast all around.  The green mountains of the West are something I miss in New England and they certainly did not disappoint.

Daddy's back!  Hooray!

With temps in the high 90s, we ate our fair share of frozen treats.  These two were good sports when I made them share their ice cream. You can tell who's happiest here-- whoever has the treat in hand!

I was most excited to spend the day in Park City.  The higher altitude meant cooler temps and I couldn't wait to explore the attractions at Olympic Park.  We rode the amazing Alpine Slide and let the kiddos test out the airplane ride and carousel. Carter loved the airplane ride while Quinn's favorite was riding every animal on the carousel.  The whole park had so much to do, we'll definitely be back for more fun!

Farewell Presidente & Hermana Nelson

The missionaries in Puebla, Mexico are lucky to have such a committed, courageous, and cherished pair headed their way.  We couldn't be more proud to send Presidente & Hermana Nelson off on their adventure, although we'll miss them dearly!  We're counting down the days until we visit!

Summer in CA

We spent the month of June in California visiting Grandma and Grandpa before they left on their mission to Mexico.  It was HOT so we played at the water park and in the pool as much as possible.  I hit the trails to run some miles solo while the kids enjoyed being spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa.  We caught up with old friends, packed up the house, and before we knew it, our trip was over.  It was so fun to be together and hard to say goodbye, but we were happy to be reunited with daddy who unfortunately got left behind in Boston!

Quinn is fearless in the water!  "I do it" is her mantra when we swim and I couldn't be happier about it.

Grandma's brownies, Frozen toys, and new jammies!  Evidence that these two are the most loved (and spoiled) grandchildren around!

Home Sweet Home

We're officially Bostonians!  Today we closed on the home we've been renting for the past two years and we're excited to have a place to call our own (and not have to move!!)  We love living in Belmont and are thrilled to be able to stay in a place we love.  Come visit!

Quinn was napping but she's pretty excited about it too!
