Happy 4th!

We had a fun, low-key 4th this year spent with Uncle Ian and Auntie Liz!  Chris and I went back and forth trying to decide if we would go to the big celebration on the Charles, but with the thunderstorms that were expected, we decided to stay in and catch the fireworks from the 16th floor of Ian and Liz's building.  Carter somehow managed to stay awake a few hours past his bedtime to see a handful of random fireworks and then he was banished to the pack 'n play with the ipad to watch Thomas and Friends while the adults played cards.  Unfortuately, our little prisoner was not thrilled that he was excluded, so the games didn't last very long.  We tried to keep Carter up long enough to watch the firework spectacular on TV, but little guy passed out about 10 PM and didn't make a peep until we woke him up at 10 AM!  Thank you Buddy for letting us sleep in and happy 4th to all!
