And we're off! We lucked out with both sides of the aisles just for us--hooray! Chris and I couldn't believe how seamless traveling with a 4.5 year old and an almost 2.5 year old was. These two have become vets at the airplane routine and they loved having their own row.
First stop--the Bean!

The JW Marriott where we stayed was conveniently located a few blocks from Millennium Park so we took full advantage of walking back and forth each day. The hotel was also conveniently located across the street from McDonalds which the kids couldn't get enough of. Since I was in carb loading mode, I couldn't say no to some delicious Micky D's hotcakes.

After a busy travel day and lots of sight seeing, we found some pasta for dinner and headed in for the evening. The kiddos were ready for an evening swim, some dessert, and bed!
